Today in a new episode of ‘Elien visits': not just one, not just two, but three amazing shopping destinations for you to discover! Meet the Sienna trilogy, two stores and a newborn webshop that will surely satisfy your need for unique clothing, accessories, shoes and bags.
The Sienna story starts ten years ago. In 2005, founder Su-Yin Liem decides it is time for an accessible boutique filled with unique but also affordable brands. The Sienna Boutique in the shopping heart of Antwerp quickly became the go-to place for urban chique women who know what they want, have a possitive outlook on life and love fashion but aren’t led by fleeting trends. A collection based purely on style and not on brand names, on mixing and matching and giving women the chance to create their own personal looks by mixing and matching different items from the store. Fashion should be playful, and that’s exactly what Su-Yin understands.
Seven years later, little sister Sienna & Lois opened its doors. This cute boutique in the hip Kammenstraat oozes urban chique with a vintage feel, and the collections tend to be a bit thougher and edgier than its big sis Sienna. Brands include Selected Femme, Grace and Milla, Suncoo and a handful of other amazing brands. Fun fact: when Sienna & Lois landed in the Kammenstraat in the summer of 2012, I lived right around the corner. I was just about to start my year at uni when I spotted the vacancy for a sales assistent on S&L’s door. The store immediately drew my attention, with the cute, vintage-y interior and cool, unique brands. So I applied, and I actually ended up working in the store for a few days. Turned out it was too hard to combine with my studies, so I had to stop – but my love for the store always remained ;)
On to the next chapter of the Sienna book: Sienna Goodies, the online store! This virtual happy place gathers the very best of both the Antwerp stores, allowing eeeeverybody in the whole wide world to enjoy the Sienna goodies!
